I would like to start off by saying, I am so proud of my friend/my sister Mary Bates. Mary ever since we were kids growing up I have always admired your independence, I have actually always looked up to you. Now that you are a mom I admire you just as much. God has blessed you with such an amazing son, my girls and I are so thankful for you allowing us into your and Justin’s world. I didn’t realize all that parents go through raising a special need child; I knew it was some challenges but not as much as I know now. Mary, my girls and I have learned so much from your blog “Words For Justin” and we are truly grateful. We read every blog and have a long discussion about it. This blog has helped my girls especially because they have kids that go to their school that has special needs. They couldn’t understand what was going on or how to react to the kids they see at school or just out in public that has a special need. However; now since we have been so educated by your blog, Mary my girls and I understand more now when we see a child that’s a little different and the behavior they are expressing while in the stores are a bit different than the average child. I have become so interested in Words for Justin that I have started my own research on kids with Autism. I have even thought about going back to school to work with kids with disabilities. My girls and I have gained so much interest all because my good friend/sister followed her heart in letting God lead her in starting a blog called Words for Justin. I am so grateful she didn’t let anything stop her. Thank you Mary and Justin for letting us into your world, I am so proud of you and the mother you are, Justin is blessed to have you and you are triple blessed for God chose you to raise such an amazing son. We love you guys and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!!!!
